Our commitment to authenticity has seen us win over 100 awards across Canada. We bake 7 days a week and use locally sourced ingredients where possible, produce the finest British style meats possible and import a comprehensive range of British groceries.
Our first physical location offers one of Canada's largest range of imported groceries and what we understand is North America's widest range of British style baked goods and meats with almost 70 products in rotation every week, with specialty items being added to the line up every week!
Located in one of the busiest plaza's east of Montreal, our Halifax location attracts customers from all corners of the Maritimes. On a daily basis we meet new customers from Halifax, Bedford and Darmtmouth, but also customers coming in from as far as Yarmouth, Sydney and even New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland & Labrador!
In the short time since we opened our doors here in Halifax, an amazing community has already started to form around us, with so many regular faces and new friends coming through our doors.

With decades of experience, 'secret recipes' and an obsession with authenticity and freshness, our baked goods have always been destined for greatness.
It's the platform in which we have built our business and part of our humble beginnings, opening a small British style bakery in Cambridge, Ontario in 2010.
We wanted more than machine made meat pies and big box knock off sausage rolls, even British stores were guilty of only carrrying a small, frozen selection of baked goods. Our bakery counter will always be filled with freshly baked pies, pasties, savouries and sausage rolls.
We don't claim to be the best, but the reaction to our products often justifies the incredible amount of effort we put into what we do and this is all that matters to us!
We take a lot of pride in the meats we produce.
As stated above, the foundations of our business is our baked goods but when our butcher was planning his retirement we knew we needed to ensure his recipes were not retired with him. Crawford's meats was one of the first in Canada producing British style meats and are still what we consider the very best today. The recipes we acquired are nearing 70 years old and they've not changed.

Our range is one of the biggest in North America and we work tirelessly to ensure our shelves are always filled and rotated with fresh, new items while carrying the classics!
Most of our products are available online, however due to the nature of shipping, some items are more expensive online with shipping costs built into the prices! For our best prices and selection, we recommend in-store shopping!
After just four months of operation, we were voted a 10 time Platinum winner in Community Votes Halifax!
We were amazed at winning so many awards after only being open for a short amount of time, especially considering some of the amazing businesses we were up against in HRM!
